Press release from Dave Cavell:
June 17, 2020
Today, the Cavell for Congress campaign launched a groundbreaking virtual doorknocking program. The program includes digital ads and social content as well as a brand new political technology platform called rep’d.
“Although the COVID-19 pandemic has upended traditional political campaigning and voter outreach, I am still deeply committed to communicating with and listening to voters all across the district.”said Dave Cavell. “Since we can’t knock on doors in person, we are doing it virtually instead.”
The Cavell for Congress campaign is the first campaign to launch on the rep’d platform which has been developed by entrepreneurs (and brothers) Mike and David Baumwoll to create a streamlined, interactive digital conversation between voters and candidates. “In short, voters ask, candidates answer via video, and voters are notified once their question has been answered. In the process, we are hoping to elevate our democracy now and in the future” said David Baumwoll.
Mike Baumwoll also added, “We are thrilled to be launching rep’d with the congressional campaign of David Cavell in MA-4, an inspiring candidate who is ready to make a difference on day one.”
The virtual doorknocking program is just one of the many exciting ways the Cavell for Congress campaign is working to meet voters where they are. Cavell’s continued innovation highlights his commitment to grassroots organizing as well as his exciting and fresh leadership in this challenging time.
